McLaren GT specifications
The real GT
The McLaren GT is a sports car developed and produced by the British car manufacturer McLaren. It is the company’s first dedicated Grand Tourer and is based on the same platform that underlies the 720S, with an additional carbon fibre tailgate that houses a glazed trunk lid with significantly greater storage capacity.
McLaren announced the GT at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, but released full details of the car at May 15th of the same year.
The GT uses a new version of the 3,994 cc M840T V8 engine with twin turbocharging. We already know this engine from the 720S. Under the new code name M840TE, the new engine has smaller turbochargers. The chargers provide lower peak power than the super-series version, but offer higher power at low revs and better response. The GT has a rated output of 620 hp (456 kW; 612 hp) at 7,000 rpm, and maximum torque is 465 lb⋅ft (630 N⋅m) at 5,500 rpm.
The GT has a top speed of 327 km/h (203 mph). It can accelerate from 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) in 3.1 seconds and 0-200 km/h (0-124 mph) in 9 seconds.
The CSR2 McLaren GT
The 5 yellow star GT can fit 128 Fusion parts. So far nothing special. The McLaren should run 7.799s. To sum up, the GT is one of the faster cars in Tier 5.
