McLaren 765LT Specifications

Real life McLaren 765LT

The McLaren 765LT is the British manufacturer’s new limited edition of 765 units. All information on price and engine of the fastest Super Series model to date!

The McLaren 765LT – which would actually have been on display at the 2020 Geneva Motor Show – is designed to make drivers feel at home on the road as well as on the racetrack. The focus is on performance and precision.

The British are only building 765 of the lightweight racer. In its slimmed-down version, the 765 “Longtail” weighs just 1229 kilograms. The 4.0-liter V8 biturbo mid-engine with 765 hp and 800 Newton meters of torque has an incredible power-to-weight ratio of 1.61 kilograms per hp.

This is possible thanks to a choice of materials reminiscent of Formula 1: a carbon monocoque, polycarbonate glazing and a four-flow titanium exhaust system. The lightweight car sprints from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. In 7.2 seconds, the McLaren 765LT is already cruising along the track at 200 km/h. It’s no wonder, then, that it’s being praised by everyone. So it’s no wonder that it achieves the fastest track laps of all the Super Series models. Power is transmitted via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The aerodynamics of the McLaren 765LT are optimized by the LT-specific front apron, the front underbody panel, new side skirts, a revised rear diffuser and the large “longtail” rear spoiler. The latter not only provides downforce, but is also responsible for the DRS (drag reduction system) and generating as little drag as possible. When braking from high speeds, the rear spoiler also increases downforce to up to 60 percent, resulting in high driving stability and reduced braking distance.

The CSR2 765LT

The 5 yellow star McLaren can fit 128 Fusion parts. So far nothing special. The 765LT should run 7.245s. To sum up, the 765LT is not one of the fastest cars in Tier 5.
