The Ferrari SF90 Spider is the CSR2 Milestone Car of Season 154.
Obviously, the Ferrari SF90 Spider is not one of the faster cars in Tier 5.
Ferrari SF90 Spider SPecifications
The Italian sports car manufacturer is breaking new ground with the SF90 Spider: The 1000 hp bolide is the brand’s first hybrid convertible. Three electric motors support the 780 hp V8 engine. That’s what we know about the price!
That the SF90 Spider – of which there is no price yet – looks the way it does is no surprise. Rather, the consistency of the implementation is surprising. As in the Stradale, a highly visible V8 and three electric motors sitting behind the driver produce 1000 hp of system power, which fall over all four wheels. The aluminum soft top not only blends in perfectly with the SF90’s spectacular lines, but also takes up only 100 liters of stowage volume. According to Ferrari, 150 to 200 liters are normal. The folding process takes 14 seconds.
The plug-in hybrid is faster in the sprint: 100 km/h is reached after 2.5 seconds and 200 km/h after 7.0 seconds. The soft top never causes unsightly wind noise. An electric rear window completes the Spider package. The extra weight compared to the Stradale is around 100 kilograms. If that’s not enough, the SF90 Spider can also be ordered as an Assetto Fiorano. A racetrack-optimized chassis, 21 kilograms less weight and a customized set of Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires turn the hypercar convertible into a track tool of the purest water.
The SF90 Spider (2021) does not yet have a concrete price. The only certainty is that it will cost more than the Stradale (407,355 €). Future owners can look forward not only to an exclusive place in the sun and a highly potent hybrid powertrain, but also a modern cockpit. A curved 16-inch screen informs the driver about all necessary parameters. It is operated via controls on the steering wheel. Ferrari does not yet have any information on the market launch of the SF90 Spider, but it is likely to be a highlight of the 2021 open-air season – without going too far out on a limb.
