Ferrari 812 Superfast Specifications

Real life 812 Superfast

With the Ferrari 812 Superfast, the Italians presented the fastest and most powerful Ferrari of all time in 2017. Apart from the V12 in the front, everything was new – the 812 Superfast didn’t even share a name with its predecessor, the F12.

Only five years after the market launch of the Berlinetta, hardly anyone had the F12 successor on their radar. The aforementioned speed is also reflected in the design of the 812 Superfast with strongly shaped flanks and no less muscular wheel arches.

The rear of the car from Maranello stretches up high in the style of the 365 GTB4. At the front, slit-like LED headlights are countered by boomerang-shaped air intakes in the hood. The four round taillights are again very much in the Ferrari tradition.

The 6.5-liter twelve-cylinder engine in the front of the Ferrari 812 Superfast pumps a whopping 800 hp onto the crankshaft and calls up its maximum power at a torquey 8500 rpm. A little earlier, at 7000 rpm, the maximum torque of 718 Newton meters is already available.

If you want to take it a bit easier, you can already use 80 percent of the torque at 3500 rpm. When the gas pedal of the 812 Superfast is fully depressed, it becomes clear what the Italians mean by the fastest Ferrari ever: The racehorse sprints to 100 in just 2.9 seconds, and it only runs out of breath beyond 340 km/h.
