Ferrari Roma Specifications

The real Roma

With 620 hp under the hood, the new Roma promises extreme sportiness. On top of that, it has a remarkably high suitability for everyday use, as the first test drive impressively demonstrates.

The new Ferrari Roma is the latest addition to the Ferrari empire and is ready for its first test drive. It is primarily intended to inspire new customers for the Italian cult forge, for whom the cars with the rising horse have so far been too uncompromisingly trimmed to dynamics and drama. The Roma sees itself more as a classic GT coupe, but with its painted grille and narrow LED taillights it also embodies a very fresh style in terms of design.

Nevertheless, traditional Ferraristi will also get their money’s worth: At the latest when the furious biturbo V8 really revs up, the Roma delights with the breathtaking dynamics inherent in every Ferrari, regardless of its other qualities. The basis for this is provided by the aluminum monocoque, the basic features of which have been taken over from the Ferrari Portofino folding-roof convertible, which ensures an unladen weight of 1570 kilograms and very high torsional rigidity.

To say it right away: Behind the wheel, the new Roma feels at least 250 kilograms lighter.
