Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition specifications

The real Lancer

With the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition, the Japanese company drew a line under the history of its legendary, all-wheel-drive Evo models in 2015.

Mitsubishi auctioned off the first and the last Evo of its kind, or more precisely model No. 1 & 1600 of the Final Edition, for a good cause. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition fetched a total of 76,400 dollars on Ebay. The money raised went to several charitable organizations dedicated to feeding the homeless. To sum up you could say that two charitable auctions framed the sad farewell to the Evo models.

The Final Edition of the Lancer Evolution, which is limited to 1600 units, stands out not only because of its name. But also because of a number of other differences from the regular Evo, which Mitsubishi began building in 2009.

While the conventional model produced 295 horsepower, Mitsubishi saddled a few more horses on top. They increased the output of the turbocharged two-liter four-cylinder to a total of 307 horsepower for the Final Edition. Mitsubishi had the interior refined with numerous red trim pieces and stylish lettering.

A Brembo brake system, as well as Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach wheels round off the package of the latest Evo. Of course, the Final Edition also features permanent all-wheel drive with three selectable traction modes.

The CSR2 Lancer Evolution

The 5 purple star Lancer can fit 98 Fusion parts. So far nothing special. The Evo should runĀ 9.884s. To sum up, the Evo is one of the faster cars in Tier 4.
