Add to that the problem that they are already all sold out. Ultima Sports provides a solution: the GTR successor Ultima Evolution. It only costs the equivalent of 132,000 euros and produces 1034 hp in the highest configuration.
There is no better price-performance ratio. In addition, the customer gets a fun super sports car that makes the overpriced Bugatti look old, at least in traffic light racing. The Bugatti needs 2.5 seconds for the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h, the Ultima Evolution is 0.2 seconds faster. In terms of top speed, the Briton is beaten by the 400-plus mph French car at 386 km/h, but these speeds are rare on public roads.
But it’s not just the price and performance that are breathtaking in the Ultima Evolution. The racy Brit weighs just a lean ton, achieving an almost balanced power-to-weight ratio.
The lightweight’s body is made of carbon and sits on a trellis frame. The drivetrain in the Ultima Evolution consists of a 6.8-liter supercharged V8 engine from Chevrolet and a six-speed transmission from Porsche, which is positioned on the rear axle for better weight distribution and distributes the almost 1,000 Newton meters to the rear wheels.
A height-adjustable sports suspension with double wishbones enhances the sensational driving characteristics, as does the aerodynamic body shape. To prevent the Ultima Evolution from taking off with so much cutting-edge technology, a huge rear spoiler keeps it grounded.
