ForeverLawn Zero Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE NASCAR Specifications
Chevrolet is switching to the Camaro ZL1 1LE in the 2020 NASCAR Cup Series. They where replacing the Camaro ZL1 that made its series debut in 2018.
The Camaro ZL1 1LE – based on the fastest and most track-ready production Camaro ever – made its racing debut in February during Daytona Speedweeks, which opened the 2020 NASCAR season. Chevrolet engineers optimized aerodynamic performance using a range of tools, including computational fluid dynamics (CFD), simulations and reduced-scale and full-size wind tunnel testing.
The Camaro ZL1 1LE joins the Team Chevy family of racing Camaros that already compete in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NHRA Funny Car, Pro Stock and Sportsman classes, the Michelin Pilot Challenge GS class and the Pirelli World Challenge GTS division. The Camaro ZL1 1LE joined the Camaro SS, which has been Chevrolet’s entry in the NASCAR Xfinity Series since 2013, winning 76 races, four driver’s championships and four manufacturer’s championships.
