Zagato Shooting Brake Specifications

The real Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake

A few years ago, Aston Martin built a limited number of Zagato-bodied vanquishes in three different body styles: Coupe, Convertible and Shooting Brake, the latter being by far the coolest. The company built 99 examples, most of which disappeared into collections and never saw the light of day.

Mechanically, the Zagato Shooting Brake shares much of its design with the regular last-generation Vanquish. That means a naturally aspirated 6.0-liter V-12 engine sends 580 horsepower to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The interior is also largely identical, with the exception of the custom cargo area, which features a carbon-fiber floor (a $19,000 option) and plenty of leather. This particular example also comes with a $10,000 carbon fiber roof, a $5300 two-tone red and black paint job, and carbon fiber steering wheel paddle shifters, which for some reason cost $3190.

Like the Vanquish S, the Zagato Shooting Brake is powered by a 5.6-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine. It produces 600 hp and 630 Nm of torque.
