A newly developed aerodynamic profile on the underbody, extends automatically from 80 km/h in race mode and thus further reduces lift on the front axle.
585 BiTurbo horsepower and 700 Nm (between 1900 and 5500 rpm), so that the AMG then runs up to 100 and a maximum of 316 km/h in 3.6 seconds. There are also 1630 kilos to be moved, a proud 15 kilos less than the GT S. Shifting continues to be performed by the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, which has nevertheless been adapted to the new performance figures. And designed to be moved on the race track. The brake calipers are painted yellow, the roof is made of carbon.
Mercedes-AMG GmbH is a subsidiary of Daimler AG and as such responsible for the group’s high-performance vehicles. The company is based in Affalterbach.
