The BMW M4 Competition is the Milestone Car of Season 118. The 4 yellow star BMW is one of the faster cars in Tier 3.

BMW M4 Competition specifications

The real M4 Competition

Under the long hood of the M4 Competition lurks the 3.0-liter biturbo gasoline engine, known internally as the “S58,” which we already know from the X3 M and X4 M SUV models. In the Competition version, the straight-six engine produces 510 hp. Both all-wheel and rear-wheel drive are available. With 510 hp and manual transmission, the sprint from 0 to 100 takes 3.9 seconds according to factory specifications.

Another interesting feature is the six-speed manual transmission. In the Competition variant, an eight-speed automatic can also be ordered.

Meanwhile, the interior features a free-standing display on the dashboard and the associated iDrive control system gets a makeover and, for the first time, gesture control from the 7 Series. The cockpit, already partially digitized, can also be ordered fully digital.

Fully electrically adjustable M Carbon bucket seats are available as an option, with an illuminated logo integrated into the headrest. The BMW M4 also takes a leap forward in terms of assistance systems. For example, Park Distance Control with sensors at the front and rear, front collision warning, lane departure warning and Speed Limit Info traffic sign recognition are already available as standard, while other assistance systems are available at extra cost.

The market launch is scheduled to start in March 2021. The price of the M4 Competition will start at 91,500 euros.
