BMW ACS8 CSR2, best tune and shift pattern

The BMW ACS8 is the CSR2 Prestige Cup Car of Season 54.

Obviously, the BMW ACS8 is not one of the fastest cars in Tier 4.

BMW ACS8 SPecifications

With their complicated technology and ecological character, hybrid cars are rather rare guests for tuners. AC Schnitzer, however, shows no shyness and presents its tuning program for the BMW i8!

Aachen-based tuning specialist AC Schnitzer is showing its variant of the BMW i8, which comes with all kinds of new aerodynamic components made of carbon. The counterpart is the matte-red filming called “Inferno Red Chrome”, which makes the i8 even more of an eye-catcher. But from the front: the new front spoiler – made of carbon, of course – pulls the BMW i8 down visually, and the new carbon side skirts do the same. But AC Schnitzer would not be AC Schnitzer if such parts had only a visual claim. In fact, the side skirts in conjunction with the carbon rear diffuser provide even more downforce. Side wings and a carbon rear spoiler complete the martial appearance of the BMW i8. The carbon air intake in the hood, the redesigned radiator grille, the carbon door handle shells and mirror covers show that the Aachen-based company also has an eye for detail.

Engine performance remains unchanged

Thanks to the lowering of 25 millimeters at the front and 20 millimeters at the rear axle, the new lightweight forged rims are particularly effective: here AC Schnitzer proudly announces that despite the immense dimensions of 8.5 x 21 inches at the front and 9.5 x 21 inches at the rear, the rims save a whopping 4.4 kilograms in weight compared with the series. Incidentally, the “AC1” are available in multicolor, black or optionally in another color.

Schnitzer has given the interior of the BMW i8 an aluminum pedal set and velour floor mats. As dynamic as the appearance is now, everything about the engine remains as standard. This means that the three-cylinder petrol engine with 1.5 liters displacement and 231 hp drives the rear axle, while the 131 hp electric motor takes over the front axle. With its total output of 362 hp, the BMW i8 hurtles to 100 mph in just 4.4 seconds and on to a top speed of 250 mph. An inferno on four wheels!

The CSR2 ACS8

The 5 yellow star BMW can fit 91 Fusion parts. So far nothing special. The ACS 8 should run 11.485s. To sum up, the BMW ACS8 is not one of the fastest Cars in Tier 5.
