The Millecavalli is the most powerful street-legal car ever built in Italy. It surpasses the LaFerrari’s peak output by 36 horsepower. Obviously a really powerful car.
The engine is based on the 7.0-liter from the regular Evantra. Mazzanti claims the supercar will accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.7 seconds. It has a top speed of 250 mph. By comparison, the V12 hybrid LaFerrari completes the same sprint 0.3 seconds slower. The LaFerrari is reaching a top speed of 217 mph. To conclude, the Millecavalli beats the LaFerrari in all major disciplines.
The Millecavalli uses the standard Evantra’s monocoque chassis. It is constructed from steel and molybdenum chrome. But thanks to some carbon fiber in the construction the curb weight is down to only 2,866 lb. The car is also said to feature an innovative aero technology. Heated air from the engine bay is directed past the rear wing to boost downforce. Without a doubt a bit like the blown diffusers used in Formula One.
In fact the Evantra Millecavalli has received some more aerodynamic improvements. A fixed rear wing and winglets on the front bumper. In addition to this a large air intakes on the hood. A roof-mounted air scoop completes the aerodynamic optimizations.
Brembo brakes are also fitted as standard, with carbon ceramic available as an option. A lightweight, aluminum-clad exterior provides a curb weight of just 1300 kg.
Pricing for the Evantra Millecavalli was approximately $1,200,000. Only 25 examples where built. To sum up, a powerful Italian dream car but unaffordable.
