The Audi R8 V10 Decennium is the Holiday Cup Prize car 2019. The Audi comes with 5 purple stars, matt grey paint and bronze rims. The Audi is not one of the fastest T5 cars. Anyway I like it somehow. Perhaps because it was near Christmas when it entered my garage :).
Audi R8 Specifications
Real life R8 Decennium
Audi officially unveiled the R8 to the public at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. At the International Motor Show (IAA) in Frankfurt am Main in September 2017, Audi unveiled the R8 RWS (Rear Wheel Series) as a special model with rear-wheel drive that is limited in production. To mark the tenth anniversary of the V10 engine in the Audi R8, the R8 V10 Decennium special model, limited to 222 units, was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2019. It is only available as a coupé.
Regardless of the main color, the front spoiler, side sill moldings and rear diffuser are painted in gloss black. The sideblades and mirror caps are made of carbon. The interior of the Anniversary R8 is mainly black with decors in carbon fiber and contrasting stitching in copper.
The familiar 5.2-liter V10 with 620 bhp and 580 Nm powers the R8 Decennium, which catapults the edition model to country road speed in 3.1 seconds and further to a top speed of 331 km/h.
Audi recently announced that they will not continue the R8 series. Hmmmm, should I buy one. If it wasn’t that expensive I probably would. Overall, 222.000 € are pretty much for a Volkswagen 🙂
The R8 can fit 135 Fusion parts. So far nothing special. The purple star Audi should run 8.198s for the 1/2 mile distance.
