At the Concorso dEleganza 2016 at the Villa dEste in Italy he was introduced, the Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato. Now the manufacturer has announced that the special model will actually be built.
The basis is the Aston Martin Vanquish Coupé. However, the new design is a mixture of Vulcan, One-77 and DB11. The look is combined with typical Zagato elements such as the double-curved roof, the rear view or an exclusive interior. A revised version of the 6.0-liter V12 engine is used under the hood. While the unit in the standard Vanquish only mobilizes 576 horsepower, the Zagato can draw on a total of 600 horses. Equipped in this way, the special model accelerates from zero to 60 miles per hour (about 97 km/h) in 3.5 seconds.
The first problem with the Zagato is that the manufacturer plans to build only 99 units in Gaydon. Hurdle number two is the price, because the vehicle is supposed to cost a good 650,000 euros.
