The Koenigsegg Jesko is following in the footsteps of the Agera RS. But this with up to 1600 HP and a top speed of 480 km/h. Correctly read. The weight of the Jesko is stated as 1320 kilograms. In order not to take off at these high speeds, there is a huge wing at the rear, which generates plenty of downforce. At a speed of 275, it weighs one ton. At top speed the tail is even pressed down with 1400 kilograms.
Equally astonishing is the transmission design, which was done by the company itself. It is a Neungang multiclutch transmission, which is even 90 kilograms lighter than that of the Bugatti Chiron. In addition, every gear can be selected at any time, so there is no need to shift through the gears sequentially.
Another new feature of the Jesko is the adaptive rear-wheel steering, which adapts the steering angle to the speed driven or the engine speed. This is a factor that should not be underestimated, because after all it brings the power plant up to at least 1000 Newton meters of torque between 2700 and 6170 revolutions. The maximum torque is even 1500 Newton meters.
