Dodge Challenger SRT Demon Specifications

The real Challenger SRT Demon

The SRT Demon was built to dominate the performance elite. To accomplish this, Dodge builds the ultimate Challenger with a 6.2 litre SRT HEMI V8 engine with a huge supercharger. This engine delivers an incredible 852 horsepower. And yet the question remains: “How can such a heavy, rear-wheel drive vehicle reach 100 km/h in under 3 seconds? The reason for this is a well-balanced overall concept that only aims to dominate the drag strip.

The Torque Reserve Launch System also plays its part in this. The Demon even presses so much torque onto the asphalt that the front wheels of the Challenger take off when starting. In addition, the roadworthy drag racer provides the highest G-forces measured on a production car. Amazing!

2.3 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h! Wheelie starting from a standing start! 852 HP from a supercharged V8! 9.65 seconds for the 1/4 mile!
