The perfect race in CSR2 is hard to ride. CSR2 is a drag racing game. You fly down a straight road at a speed well over 100 MPH, against a single opponent. The races are a quarter mile (T1-T3) or a half mile (T4 & T5) long.
Perfect start, perfect race
At the starting line, tap the accelerator to accelerate your engine. Make sure that your engine rev is perfectly balanced to stay in the green zone and perform a perfect start. In fact, most cars work best when you start a race with a perfect start.
Perfect shift
As soon as the shift display reaches the green area, tap the pedal to shift gears. A perfect shift will earn you some extra money. You can see on the display when you are approaching Perfect Shift and how much leeway you have.

Use nitrous
Don’t forget to use your nitrous. Even if you think you are way ahead of your opponent, he can overpower you in a split second by using his nitrous. Tap the nitrous button on the left side of the screen as a consequence you will reach maximum speed.
