The Jaguar F-Type Convertible facelift shines in new splendor since 2020 at a price starting at 71,200 euros. The front has been completely redesigned and looks flatter than before thanks to slit-like headlights.
The taillights have been made more angular and thus follow the brand’s current design line. The elegant body is topped by the familiar fabric roof. The interior has also been upgraded: Digital instruments and Touch Pro infotainment with over-the-air updates make the convertible fit for its second half of life.
Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also on board. Despite modern technology, the Brit:ins continue to place value on fine materials and a comparatively classic ambience. This makes the Jaguar F-Type Convertible one of the last roadsters of classic design on the market.
There is room for three different engines under the long hood of the Jaguar F-Type. The base model is fueled by a 300-hp turbocharged four-cylinder (P300) that sends its power to the rear wheels via an eight-speed automatic transmission – the gearbox is standard on all F-Type models. For the 450-hp supercharged V8 (P450), Jaguar also offers the option of all-wheel drive – for a flat 6,000 euros extra. In the top model, the F-Type R, power is sent to all four wheels as standard. Here, the 5.0-liter V8 supercharged engine produces a whopping 575 hp.
