This roadster is not a car for fair-weather lovers, there is no roof for this car. The Veneno Roadster is open – always. But this is not the only aspect that promises the highest level of exclusivity. The price is also likely to put off normal earners for a long time. Lamborghini estimates 3.3 million euros – plus taxes!
A 750 hp V12 with 6.5 liters of displacement leaves no doubt at any time about the power of the open-top Veneno. Thanks to permanent all-wheel drive, it goes from standstill to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds, and top speed is 355 km/h. The cornering speeds of the Veneno Roadster are said to be even more impressive than the longitudinal dynamics, as the extreme sports car comes with genuine racing suspension including pushrod wheel suspensions and horizontally mounted spring/damper units.
That the Veneno Roadster’s aerodynamics are more than just for show should hardly surprise connoisseurs of the brand. From the heavily swept front end to the fully clad underbody and the diffuser, every detail follows a mission: optimum downforce with minimum drag is the motto. And because, as with the Coupé, a lot of carbon is used, the weight also remains pleasingly low: 1,490 kilograms dry weight means that less than two kilograms of each horsepower have to be moved!
