The real SC20
The purist roadster, with no windshield and plenty of horsepower, is aimed at the McLaren Elva, which the British sports car manufacturer has also launched in 2020. While the proven technology and the V12 engine from the Aventador SVJ with 770 hp are at work under the carbon fiber skin, the design team from Lamborghini Centro Stile drew inspiration from several icons of the brand.
For the open-air elements, for example, they looked to the Diablo VT Roadster, Veneno Roadster and the Concept S – the 2005 Gallardo one-off with two split cockpit pulpits. Despite obvious motorsport borrowings, the Lamborghini SC20 (2020) should actually also be road-legal. Lamborghini has not communicated how high the price was for the customer to immortalize insects on the helmet visor at 350 km/h.
