The Aventador SVJ held the record for production cars on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife with its V12 engine. The exceptional sports car needs 6:44:97 minutes! In the meantime, however, it has been dethroned.
As poisonous as the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ presents itself, as high is the price of 359,116 euros before taxes. But it is just as poisonous on the racetrack. It is no coincidence that the Italian sports car temporarily set the Nürburgring-Nordschleife record in 2018.
The extreme sports car flew around the 20.6-kilometer circuit in the Eifel in a breathtaking 6:44:97 minutes. For the Ring record, the driving machine was fitted with optionally available Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires; as standard, the Jota stands on specially developed Pirelli P Zero Corsa semislicks.
The technical data reveal how the SVJ achieved its top time on the Ring: The bullet is powered by a 6.5-liter V12, which increases by 20 hp and 30 Newton meters over the Aventador SV to now 770 hp and 720 Newton meters of torque.
With an unladen weight of 1526 kilograms, this corresponds to a power-to-weight ratio of just 1.98 kilograms per horsepower. By comparison, the LP-750-4 SV, which is no longer offered, has to move 2.03 kilograms per hp.
Thus equipped, the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ charges to 100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds and breaks the 200 km/h barrier after 8.6 seconds. The Italians don’t name a top speed, but it’s likely to be even higher than the SV’s 350 km/h limit.
