GT2 RS Clubsport Specifications

Real life GT2 RS Clubsport

Porsche has developed the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport especially for club sports enthusiasts and trackday drivers.

The technology of the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport is based on the 911 GT2 RS high-performance sports car. Both share the powertrain with their road-going counterpart: a state-of-the-art 3.8 six-cylinder boxer engine with biturbo charging. The 700 hp of the rear-mounted engine is transmitted to the 310-millimeter-wide rear wheels by means of a seven-speed Porsche Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) with rigid suspension.

As in all other racing versions of the 911, the driver operates conveniently placed paddles on the carbon steering wheel to shift gears. The position of the engine behind the rear axle ensures outstanding traction and braking performance. On the front axle, six-piston aluminum monobloc racing brake calipers combined with internally ventilated and slotted steel brake discs with a diameter of 390 millimeters ensure outstanding deceleration values. Four-piston calipers and 380-millimeter discs are installed on the rear axle.

Just like the street-legal 911 GT2 RS, the 1,390-kilogram Clubsport variant features the Porsche Stability Management (PSM) driving stability system. Including traction control, as well as an antilock braking system (ABS). The driving assistance systems can be adjusted separately or switched off completely. Depending on the respective driving situation with the aid of a so-called map switch on the center console.

The carbon steering wheel and the color display behind it in the 911 GT2 RS Clubsport come from the 911 GT3 R of the 2019 model year. A massive roll cage in conjunction with a racing bucket seat and six-point seat belts ensures maximum safety. An air conditioning system ensures optimum interior cooling.

Anyone with the small matter of 405,000 euros (plus VAT!) to spare can order the Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport – or at least give it a try.

The CSR2 GT2 RS Clubsport

The 5 purple star Porsche can fit 135 Fusion parts. So far nothing special. The Clubsport should runĀ 7.229s. To sum up, the Porsche is not one of the fastest cars in Tier 5.
