2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Specs
Real life 2020 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray
In 2019 GM presented the newest version of the US dream car, the Corvette C8.
As always, the Corvette C8 Stingray is powered by a 6.2 liter small block V8 engine. GM quantifies the power of the C8 Corvette at 502 hp, which is available at just under 6,500 rpm. The maximum torque should be 637 Nm (at 5,150 rpm).
The first pictures of the convertible were shown during the presentation of the Coupé, but formally it was only presented to media representatives on October 2, 2019 and to the general public on the following day at the Kennedy Space Center on Merritt Island, Florida. The motorsport version Corvette C8.R, which is to compete in the GTE class, was also shown at the same event.
The Corvette accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.0s and reaches a top speed of 312 km/h.
The suitability for everyday use not only applies to the driving characteristics, but also to the comparatively ample space in the cabin and the two luggage compartments in the front and rear as well as to the ambience: The days when the Corvette smelled of bad plastic are definitely over.
In addition, there are digital instruments, a solid head-up display and a large touch screen, and for the first time, safety features such as the Cross-Traffic Assistant or a blind spot warning. By the way, this is just as superfluous as the digital rear-view mirror, with which the Americans effectively compensate for poor rearward visibility. Because in the eighth generation, you have to look back less often than ever because someone might dare to overtake the Corvette.

The standard version of the Corvette can fit 91 Fusion parts, the 4 purple star version can fit 98 Fusions, so far noting special. The yellow star Corvette should run 10.241s, surprisingly fast. The purple star Corvette is still a bit faster.
