The Chevrolet Camaro SS is the CSR2 Prestige Cup Car of Season 7

Chevrolet Camaro SS specifications

The real Camaro SS

With its Camaro model, first launched in 1966, the GM brand Chevrolet in particular was present on the export markets of the old continent. Many first-time buyers of American cars immediately opted for the top model of the series, which had been delivered in North America since 1967 under the designation Super Sport (SS).

The Camaro SS with its eight-cylinder engines took pole position in the range of sports coupés and convertibles until the early 1970s, alongside the Camaro Z28. A new edition of the SS version did not appear until the fourth generation of the model in 1996. In the newly developed Camaros presented in 2010, Chevrolet once again established the Super Sport as the top model alongside the RS versions.

With the revival of the Camaro series in 2010, the traditional top-of-the-range model with the SS equipment package was also re-introduced. Chevrolet used GM-branded V8 engines in the visually and technically updated generation, which had a displacement of 6.2 litres and delivered up to 318 kW (432 hp) in the Camaro SS. Initially only available as a coupé, the top model was also available again as a convertible from the 2011 model year.

The CSR2 SS

TheCamaro SS can fit 77 Fusion parts, so far nothing special. The Camaro should run 7.750s.

  1. I upgraded my SS all the way. Elite 50. For the life of me I can’t get the tune setup to work to get to 7.X. I’m a very experienced racer. My NOS is different than all the videos out there. It’s 428/5.7. Why, if you know? But no matter how tune it 8.2’s is the best it does.

    1. Was it a two star Camaro SS you maxed or the one without stars? Perhaps there is a difference between these cars.

I have the camaro ss Fully upgraded Full Elite & I’ve tuned it Exactly as stated above but this setting doesn’t allow me to shift 5th at 196 mph & I’ve been playing since 2016 not new please help best time I get 1/2 mile is 12.38 tired of losing lol

    1. Hey Natasha, did you max the 0 star Camaro SS (the one you can buy for gold) or the 2 star one from crates? Tune and shift only work for the 2 star Camaro.

Mine is 4* lol can Not remember When I got it or from where do you know where I could have gotten it with it Being 4* lol this is a Hot Mess. I should have been putting dates on plates. I had stopped playing back in April 2018 while battling cancer then came back that Oct & I Use to write my cars down. So I Know it wasn’t one i got before April 2018. So any ideas how I Have a 4* & what is the best shift & tune for it fully maxed & fully Elite customized

Idk why my message went thru like it did earlier but I have a 4 Star camaro ss idk when I got it. I Know i didn’t buy it because I Wouldn’t have bought that from the buy cars option had to have pulled it from the crates probably while trying to pull a PC car lol but do you know of a good tune & shift For the 4 star & Wouldn’t I Be Able to get a faster tune with It Being 4 star more stars more rare isn’t it?
