GT-R specifications
The real Nissan GT-R Nismo R35 N Attack Pkg
The Nissan GT-R Nismo has an output of 600 hp. That’s another 51 hp more than the “normal” GT-R has to offer. The GT-R top version owes the increase to two turbochargers with larger diameters from the GT3 racing version. To prevent the extra power from sweeping the 1.8-ton car off the track, the engineers had to improve the aerodynamics. Aggressive bumpers, cladding on the underside of the engine and a carbon rear spoiler lower the car’s center of gravity, providing 100 kilograms of downforce at 300 kilometers per hour.
The acceleration of the 3.8-liter V6 bi-turbo in the civilian GT-R is already a blast. But what the engine unleashes in the Nismo goes far beyond that. 652 instead of 632 Nm of maximum torque press down on the crankshaft. It wouldn’t be surprising if the Nismo cracks 100 km/h even below the 2.7 seconds of its tamer brother, or tops its top speed of 315 km/h. There is no fear of losing control with so much power. The Nismo can be steered too confidently via the direct steering, the body is pressed too hard onto the ground, and the new soft Dunlop tires stick too firmly to the road.
And Nissan went one better. For the lap record on the Nordschleife, the GT-R Nismo was equipped with the so-called Attack Pack. This includes even lighter seats, an adjustable rear spoiler, further aerodynamic components and a further refinement of the damper tuning.
Technical data Nissan GT-R Nismo – Engine V6 bi-turbo – Power 600 hp – 0-100 km/h under 2.7 sec – Top over 315 km/h – Price 149,990 Euro
