The ATS Automobili GT is the CSR2 Milestone Car of Season 87. The ATS is not one of the faster cars in Tier 5.

Layoffs are actually rarely pleasant. But there are exceptions: At the end of 1961, Ferrari parted company with eight senior employees, including the two technical directors Carlo Chiti and Giotto Bizzarini. But the gentlemen didn’t keep their hands off the fast stuff and founded the ATS (Automobili Turismo e Sport) brand in 1962. Two enthusiasts named Daniele Maritan and Emanuele Bomboi are making a comeback in the form of a new ATS GT.
Bomboi, who has worked as a designer for Fiat, Bertone, Maggiora and Viotti, is responsible for the look of the new ATS GT. The neutral observer will notice certain parallels to the Ford GT, such as the light rings at the rear through which hot air is led outside. A look at the dimensions: 4.70 meters long, 1.96 meters wide and 1.21 meters high. The ATS GT has no visible door handles; it is opened via contactless sensors. The front spoiler quotes the classic 2500 GTS, as does the blue dragon logo on the front hood. There is no rear window at the other end of the car.
This part of the body conceals the biturbo V8 with 3.8 liters of displacement. Depending on customer requirements, it offers between 659 and 710 hp or 678 and 750 Newton meters of torque. The ATS shifts with a sequential seven-speed automatic with visible technology, and three driving modes. Viaggio” is intended for normal everyday driving, while “Sport” is self-explanatory. In Race mode, the instruments on the TFT display switch to a Formula 1 view.
Braking is with carbon-ceramic discs. The tire sizes are remarkable: Civilian 255/30 R20 at the front, but a fat 355/25 R21 at the rear. From zero to 100 km/h the new ATS GT sprints in a good three seconds, the top speed is over 330 km/h according to the manufacturer. As more than 50 years ago, the end is to be at twelve copies, but this time on purpose.

The 5 purple star ATS can fit 135 Fusion parts. So far nothing special. The GT should run 7.701s. To sum up, the ATS Automobili GT is one of the faster cars in Tier 5.
