The three-seater goes by the name SCG 004 and comes with a chassis and body made of carbon fiber laminate. The lightweight material reduces the weight to around 1,180 kilograms. As in the McLaren F1, the driver in the SCG 004 is positioned in the center. The two passengers sit on the left and right, slightly offset to the rear. A five-liter V8 biturbo engine at the back of the three passengers provides propulsion. It delivers 650 hp and a maximum torque of 720 Nm to a six-speed manual transmission. An automated manual transmission is also available as an option.
In terms of design, the Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG 004CS follows more conventional super sports car specifications. The nose ducks low to the road, the generously glazed passenger compartment sits far forward. Large air intakes open up in the flanks, leading into an openwork C-pillar and directing the airflow further into the rear under the spoiler there. The two exhaust tailpipes also end under the spoiler, which integrates the taillights. The rear window features a grille, and the lower floor belongs entirely to a large diffuser.
Inside the SCG 004S, the pilot guides the gearshift lever through an open backdrop. A camera provides an image on the interior mirror in addition to the conventional exterior mirrors. Sports enthusiasts can play with a rally timer. Of course, the smartphone also finds a docking station. A round clock landscape with 9 analog instruments spreads out in front of the driver. The three-spoke steering wheel comes classic and obviously without an airbag.
The SCG 004S described above is designed as a pure road sports car, the SCG 004CS has been optimized for circuit use, but is still allowed on the road. Technically, the CS differs from the S with center lock rims, fenders with vent gills all around, modified exterior mirrors, a completely digital racing dashboard, additional aero attachments, and the V8 boosted to 850 hp, which also meters its power via a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
