The Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse “Jean Bugatti” is one of the most exclusive and expensive cars. The VW subsidiary is demanding 2.28 million euros plus VAT for the second of six special models in the Bugatti Legends series.

Like all Legend models, Bugatti built only 3 copies of the super sports car with a 1200 hp sixteen-cylinder engine. It is dedicated to the eldest son of the company founder Ettore Bugatti and is a reminiscence of his legendary sports coupé Type 57SC Atlantic from the 1930s.

With the new Veyron edition model, Bugatti makes reference to the Type 57 SC Atlantic La Voiture Noire, which was lost since World War II and which Jean Bugatti himself drove. The carbon body of the roadster is deep black, while the leather upholstery is beige and brown, just like the original. The horseshoe-shaped frame of the radiator grille and the EB logo on the rear and steering wheel are made of platinum.

The first car of the Legend Edition was the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse “Jean-Pierre Wimille”, which was introduced in August 2013. It is a reminder of the former Bugatti factory racer of the same name. Net price: 2.13 million Euro. The remaining four special models of the series were released in 2014.
