Hennessey Venom F5 Concept Specifications

The real F5 Concept

Hennessey unveiled the first Venom F5 prototype at the SEMA 2017. Since then a more or less open duel with Bugatti for the crown of top speed has been going on.

In order for Hennessey to emerge victorious from this competition, the Texans have reworked the engine of their Venom F5 super sports car. Hennessey calls the new power unit “Fury” and with 1,817 hp now has 195 horsepower more than its predecessor. The basic principle remains the same: Twin-Turbo-V8 with plenty of displacement – 6.6 litres for the Fury.

The 1.3 ton Venom F5 is able to reach the Vmax target of 311 mph (500 km/h) already with 1,520 HP – but John Hennessey prefers to play it safe.
The Venom F5 can accelerate to 300 km/h in under 10 seconds and reach 400 km/h in under 30 seconds. The F5 remains unattainable for most people, not because the super sports car is limited to 24 units, no, it costs 1.6 million US dollars.

The CSR2 Hennessey Venom F5 Concept

The 5 purple star Venom can fit 135 Fusion parts. So far nothing special. The F5 should run 6.936s. The 5 yellow star Venom can fit 128 Fusion parts. The second version of the F5 should run 6.928s.

To sum up, the Hennessey is one of the fastest cars in Tier 5.
