The KIA Stinger GT is the CSR2 Prestige Cup Car of Season 100. The 4 yellow star Kia is not one of the fastest cars in Tier 3.

Stinger specifications

The real Stinger GT

The KIA Stinger made its debut at the NAIAS in Detroit in January 2017 and went on sale in Europe on October 21, 2017 at prices starting at 43,990 Euros. Peter Schreyer and Gregory Guillaume designed the Stinger in Frankfurt am Main. Albert Biermann, former Deputy Head of Development at BMW M GmbH,was responsible for the development of the GT. Since 2015 he has been Chief Development Officer at the Hyundai Motor Group, to which Kia belongs.

The Stinger develops 370 hp at 6000 rpm, accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 seconds and reaches a top speed of 270 km/h. Without doubt, not one of the fastest cars.

Since the Kia Stinger GT is not intended to be at the top of the model range in terms of size, but in terms of image, the Koreans have not been stingy with the equipment either: From the LED headlights to the front collision warning system including autonomous emergency braking assistant with pedestrian detection, adaptive cruise control system with stop & go function, lane departure warning system with corrective steering intervention, drowsiness warning system and traffic sign recognition, pretty much every assistance system the Koreans could get their hands on is installed in the Kia Stinger GT.

Standard features on the GT Line include leather upholstery, with power-adjustable front seats, navigation system with digital radio reception, head-up display and 18-inch alloy wheels. In the top GT version, the Stinger is equipped with power Nappa leather seats that can be heated or ventilated, among other features. Additionally, the top trim offers an eight-inch navigation system, smartphone interface and inductive charging station. LED headlights with dynamic cornering lights and a camera with all-round vision make the Kia Stinger’s appearance perfect.

It’s a pretty modest family car, not exactly my dream car. But, not to be too harsh, the KIA is already in my garage. It came out of a silver box when I tried to get the Mini GP.

CSR2 Stinger GT

The Kia Stinger GT can fit 77 Fusion parts, so far nothing special. This thing’s a bitch to set up. Hardly any fusion parts, not to mention the missing Stage 6 parts. The Stinger should run 8.216s.
