The power of the Aston Martin Vulcan comes from a variant of the company’s well-known V-12 engine. Developed with the support of Aston Martin Racing. It has a displacement of 7.0 liters and produces “over 800” hp. Obviously, not a slow car,
The rest of the Vulcan’s specs are similarly intangible. Aston Martin built the Vulcan on a carbon-fiber monocoque and made its body out of carbon.
A magnesium torque tube and carbon-fiber driveshaft the engine with a racing-style Xtrac six-speed sequential transmission. Brakes are handled by Brembo racing calipers. The Vulcan was obviously built to FIA safety standards. The chassis features a race-style pushrod suspension, adjustable coil-valve dampers all around and adjustable anti-roll bars. It also has driver-adjustable anti-lock brakes and traction control.
