The real DBX
With the DBX Concept, Aston Martin already presented a first preview of an SUV model of the brand at the Geneva Motor Show 2015. The production model was officially presented in Beijing on 20 November 2019. First Customer will get their vehicle in spring 2020. The special model “1913 Package”, limited to 500 units, will be available at the market launch.
With the DBX, Aston Martin is following the absurd trend for luxury and sports car manufacturers to launch an SUV on the market.
The SUV is powered by the M 177 four-litre V8 petrol engine from the Vantage, which is supplied by AMG and is also used in the Mercedes-AMG GT. The engine delivers 405 kW (550 hp) and accelerates the DBX to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The top speed is specified by Aston Martin as 291 km/h.

The standard version of the DBX can fit 91 Fusion parts, so far noting special. The yellow star Aston should run 11.629s. Obviously not one of the faster cars in Tier 4.
